We can truly not thank Rachel enough for her hard work to make our wedding day go smoothly. She was kind, professional, attentive, and responded quickly to calls and emails. Rachel created the backdrop for our photo guestbook, and it was the coolest thing ever! She made our day perfect and one to remember, highly recommend working with her!
If you are looking for a wedding planner then look no further…and if she is already booked on your wedding date then you should change your wedding date. My wife is very type A and Rachel and her team were always two steps ahead putting her at ease. She thought of every detail and was very meticulous with her design. She was attentive and an extremely clear communicator which helped so much because we live across the country. She took our vision for a wedding and created a masterpiece.
On the day of she made sure everything ran seamless. If you have a vision for your wedding that may be out of the norm..Rachel and her team will find a way. No challenge was too difficult. We can’t thank Rachel and her team enough for not only an amazing day but for making wedding planning so easy for us.
I wish I could give more stars! Rachel is the absolute BEST-I am forever grateful for her guidance and support. She was incredibly patient, responsive, flexible and reassuring throughout the entire wedding planning process. Rachel came to the rescue multiple times during our actual wedding, allowing us to be completely present and enjoy the day. She truly went above and beyond in every possible way to ensure that we (and our guests) had the most magical, unforgettable evening. She thoughtfully reminded my husband and I to take a moment to sit and eat amongst the chaos of mingling and dancing. Not only is Rachel a calming presence, she is also creative, adaptable and enthusiastic. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a wedding planner. I would HIGHLY recommend booking her ASAP-you can thank me later 🙂

YOU. DO. NOT. UNDERSTAND. Rachel and her team are literally the best people in the entire world to help plan a wedding. From the very beginning, Rachel was immediately responsive for over a year of my wedding planning. She got back to me as soon as possible and with incredible detail and suggestions. I asked her multiple multiple style and general questions for my wedding and every single time she came back with a huge list of amazing suggestions. I absolutely love her style, she has an incredible eye and is insanely patient. I asked her about mens suits and how to get a linen suit, she quickly emailed me back with a list of 10+ websites and links with her own review to help us get started. When I was indecisive about literally everything, she easily gave me examples and suggestions that would work well with what I was looking for. She always had an answer that I loved, consistently showed me elements of my wedding that would look great, and constantly impressed me with completely understanding what I wanted for my wedding. Leading up to the date, she helped me stay so calm and collected, even when I was freaking out. When we thought it would rain, she so quickly emailed me a list of suggested plans with photos of how it would look and calmed all my nerves. She was like a really amazing friend during the entire process. The day of, I was indecisive about various things, and she just made the best choices for the wedding. I asked her to write names of guests on cards, she went above and beyond and just printed them! She got stencils to stylishly put numbers on table cards without me even asking and completely transformed my wedding to be gorgeous. She brought candles and boxes and small little things to elevate the whole look. She asked our florist to hold some leftover leaves to add cute elements all around the venue, moved tables and flowers around as the night progressed to keep the vibe of the decor. When I was a little stressed day of, she calmly fixed any problem that arrived. She set up our marriage license to be signed in the perfect spot after the ceremony, had drinks ready for us and pens. She steamed my veil when no one else could figure out how. She made drink signs for us and framed them. She basically helped me pick all of my vendors. She genuinely went above and beyond what was asked and treated this like it was her own wedding. I am so obsessed with Rachel (and her team) if anyone is considering choosing Odyssey Events for their wedding please please do it. Because you will not only have a genuine team helping you design a quality, tasteful wedding, but you will literally gain a friend to help you along the way. Cannot speak highly enough this wedding would not have been what it was without Rachel. Hands down.
We hired Rachel as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding, and it was easily the best investment that we made! She was so easy to work with, and made the entire process a breeze. All of my friends and family mentioned how relaxed I was throughout wedding planning, and it was honestly because I was working with Rachel!
In addition to her help during the planning process, she was amazing during our wedding day! She took over all vendor communication, ensuring that everything was in place and on schedule. She also set up all the decor, signs, and little details, making our dream wedding a reality! Rachel and her assistant took care of everything, so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day and were able to enjoy it completely. We couldn’t recommend Rachel and her team enough!
Rachel was recommended to us by our venue (Beech Ridge Barn) and it was easily one of the best investments of our wedding!
Rachel is incredibly professional, creative, organized and easy to work with. We were a COVID postponement wedding and Rachel was SO helpful sorting out those logistics. She was always easy to reach to get opinions and ask questions. She went above and beyond as a day-of coordinator, she made fantastic vendor recommendations and used her artistic talents to create beautiful signs, decor details and a SUPER fun photo backdrop.
On our wedding weekend I can’t express how amazing it was to have Rachel and her team just take initiative and turn the vision into reality. Her attention to detail and understanding of event flow made our wedding day go off without a hitch (literally not even one small issue). I had the most stress-free, fun, special day of my life and owe so much of that to Rachel making sure everything was running smooth in the background.
I trusted Rachel with her creativity, passion for event planning, and her utmost reliability and professionalism! She was an amazing wedding planner who went above and beyond to partner with me and make my dreams and vision come to life! If you care about having the small details (lighting, linens, unique tables, displays) taken care of to make a huge difference in your wedding experience, hire Rachel!!
Rachel with Odyssey Event Designs was absolutely incredible. Not only did she set up all of my decor and make my vision come alive, but she kept our large wedding party organized and on schedule. She made it so I did not have to worry about a thing the day of my wedding. I honestly could not recommend her and her team more!
