Peter and Christopher are a metropolitan couple who tied the knot surrounded by friends and family at the stylish Park Hyatt New York just off of Central Park. While many grooms decide to get ready together, Peter & Chris looked forward to a first look and decided to get dressed separately, increasing that anticipation! It made for a very sweet moment together on the beautiful staircase in the hotel’s lobby. Taking advantage of the iconic area of New York where the wedding took place, we were able to walk just across the street for photos in front of Carnegie Hall where the grooms love to go for concerts. Incorporating personal elements to the portrait session can really put a couple at ease so I loved that idea.
Honoring both of their upbringings, a multi-faith ceremony in the grand Onyx Room at the Park Hyatt was made all the more beautiful by the warm glow of the walls. It’s a truly unique element unlike any other in Manhattan. By choosing such an architecturally interesting space, a couple can let the room speak for itself without having to over decorate. White and green centerpieces brought a light Spring vibe to the room while amazing performers in drag brought the house down. A wedding to never forget!
