I cannot say enough great things about Alyssa and Brittney!
Planning a wedding from another time zone is not always an easy feat, but these girls made it easy for me. From day one communication and planning between us was easy and convenient.
On the day of the wedding they made sure that everything was executed to my liking. Everyone always told me to prepare for something to go wrong, but nothing went wrong and I completely believe that is because these girls are on their game.
If you want to support a small local business and want amazing customer service this is the place!

Alyssa at Maui Love was AMAZING. Everything turned out so perfectly. Alyssa handled everything in terms of planning, and it was such a stress free wedding. The day of ran so smoothly, and I cannot imagine that day without her!

Truly awful experience with these two. We get engaged In February of 21. Booked Maui love in march of 21. They told my fiancé our budget was reasonable (30K for 50 people), and that getting married soon would be possible. That was our last positive experience. After we paid it was hard to get them on the phone. Typically their excuse was “oh we have another wedding this weekend so we were busy focusing on that”. That was every week.
They have a small selection of venues. Maybe it’s COVID but I highly doubt that. The venues they provided were falling apart with bad reviews or way out of our price range. No middle ground and no creative solutions to try and solve the venue problem. At this point, we pushed back our wedding date to November of 21 so they could “find more options”. Eventually they found a place we booked but over budget.
Next step was finding a caterer. Again – only 50 people and we only wanted appetizers to keep to our budget. The venue had a preferred vendor list which no one told us meant this or nothing. So our options came in at $1,500 for a place with 2.5 stars on google and reviews included comments like “found bugs in our food” or $10,000 for something reputable ($200 per person for friend finger foods). We asked if they could work with some of these places to find a middle ground for us. Their response – “I don’t know what you expect us to do, we are only middle men.” We expressed how we really need more from them given their promises to us.
At this point, one of them had gotten up and left without saying anything while the other one told us they weren’t going to help us anymore.
So quick recap. Bait and switch with the budget and our expectations. They are small, unorganized and admitted they are stretched beyond their capacity. We are now getting married at the end of 2022 and not in Hawaii all due to our experience with Maui Love.

Alyssa at Maui Love made my wife and I’s dream wedding come true. When we got engaged on Maui, we thought actually planning a wedding here was a pipe dream. But Alyssa worked tirelessly with incredible attention to detail and expertise to create a masterful day for the both of us. She was flexible when we changed our mind (frequently), worked around our busy schedules, and was able to video chat with us frequently to show us the venues we were looking at. We didn’t set foot on the island until our wedding day, and hadn’t seen anything in person and let me tell you – it was PERFECT. Her preferred vendor list is top notch, everyone we worked with was AMAZING. The coordination day-of was also incredible, it felt like a smooth operation and all of our guests were raving about pretty much everything. We seriously couldn’t have done it without Alyssa. It was such a pleasure working with Brittany and Alyssa. We had originally planned our destination wedding for June of 2020, and just like many other covid couples, we rescheduled to a later time. We were one of those hapless couples who had planned a wedding for the Fall of 2020. Obviously, that didn’t happen as the global pandemic hit and we were forced to postpone to early summer 2021. Honestly, it came out better than we ever could have planned and that’s all due to the amazing coordination and guidance of Alyssa with Maui Love Weddings. Wedding planning, without a pandemic looming in the background, is already stressful enough, but working with Alyssa made it all a breeze. She is so easy going, calming, and so full of positivity and beautiful ideas that we are in utter shock that we pulled off the wedding that we did with the budget that we had set for ourselves. She listened to our needs, got to know us and most importantly, every single vendor we worked with also let us know how highly they thought of Alyssa and how much they enjoyed working with her and each other. It truly felt like our wedding was coming together with a real community; a real Ohana. Thank you, Alyssa, for giving us the wedding of our dreams!!

Brittany and Alyssa were absolutely great to work with. We had to plan a wedding in very little time and had to do all of it over zoom and email. The planning was effortless for Blair and myself and the outcome was incredible. On the day of the ceremony everything went flawlessly and we were both able to actually enjoy the wedding, something my married friends have said isn’t always possible.
Brittany and Alyssa are detailed, organized, stress-free, and obviously know the Maui marriage scene very well. We were both super pleased with every vendor choice we made and were both so happy to we had these two experts guiding us through the whole planning/execution process.
