Jake and Jerry are not only good friends of mine, they’re also my neighbors! The two of them got engaged in Fall 2019, and I was extremely honored to take their engagement photos. I knew I wanted to make their session extra special, so I decided to collaborate with Friar Tux and Crowned Rentals. Together we created two gorgeous looks that are sure to inspire.
The first look uses suits provided by Friar Tux. Jake is rocking the “Tan Notch Lapel Suit”, while Jerry slays the “Green Notch Lapel Suit”. I decided to photograph them at one of my favorite churches in downtown Long Beach. The Renaissance Revival architecture really elevated the images; I think they turned out so chic and timeless.
For the second look, I told the boys to wear something they’d be comfortable in at the beach. 99% of all beach sessions end up with my models getting a little wet, so jeans and a button up were the perfect combo. Before making our way down towards the water, however, I wanted to create a cute picnic scene.
Thanks to Crowned Rentals, my vision came to life! Nestled under a group of palm trees, the boys were able to enjoy some champagne and appetizers. Crowned Rentals offers amazing decor pieces at super affordable prices. The low table, rug, and throw pillows were all provided by Crowned Rentals.
