What are your favorite together activities?

“We love spending time with family and friends, specifically our extensive network of Atlanta lesbian friends. We also love working on our house, playing card games, and cuddling with our cats while we watch new tv shows. We love to make music together. Lauren is an upright bassist and a guitar player, and Delaney sings and plays guitar. We like to jam with Delaney’s dad and Lauren’s best friend. Delaney likes to watch while Lauren cooks.”

What was your first date? What did you do?

“On our first date we met for drinks at a speakeasy style bar and talked. But we first met at karaoke at a lesbian bar (My Sister’s Room). Lauren sang “Last Kiss” by Pearl Jam. Despite it being an extremely sad weird song to sing at karaoke, Delaney thought Lauren was cute. And then Delaney sang “You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morissette, and despite it being a song that should scare away all future partners, Lauren thought Delaney was cute!”

What makes Lauren sexy to you?

I love Lauren’s gentle masculinity and her silliness. I love her beautiful face and the way she dresses. I love the way she treats me with kindness and attentiveness. And I think it’s very sexy when she plays bass.

What makes DeLaney sexy to you?

I think that everything about Delaney is incredibly sexy and I could go on about it in a way that is not appropriate for this assignment. But if I must be brief and appropriate, I love Delaney’s confidence. I love the way she dresses and I love the way she looks at me with her beautiful green eyes and the little smirk on her face.

What makes your relationship work?

Our relationship works because we are dedicated to being honest with each other and because we love to have fun and laugh together. We genuinely like each other all the time. We have both been through some rough relationships and breakups, but more importantly we both made the decision to learn from those hard experiences and use the lessons to make our relationship strong and happy. We have weighed the options and decided that we both really truly want a life with one another.
