It does not matter if you are Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Intersex, an Ally or any other affiliation, it is important to know that we need to coexist as a society and love and respect each other. Above all, this is what the rainbow means to so many people all over the world. In a world filled with conflict and negativity, it is important that LGBTQ+ people have a symbol of unity and hope, and so the rainbow flag is about so much more than wearing your brightest colors at a pride festival. Moreover, this is why we donate $5.00 for every bow tie sold to charity. We want to unify people and make a difference in the world. That is why we are more than just a bow tie!
Every bow tie has a specific non-profit organization that we will donate to. These are the 3 non-profit organizations:
Ko-Falen Cultural Center:
When we sell 12 bow ties, we will sponsor a child in Mali, Africa to go school for 1 year. We will blog the total number of children we sponsor in one year.
The Kansas City Center for Inclusion:
All the donations made for this design bow tie will be applied to the Equality Teen Prom 2018
AIDS Walk Kansas City:
Their mission is to provide food, shelter, medical care and other services to the diverse community dealing with HIV and AIDS
