Vacation time is precious. When we set out to plan this fun family trip to Boston, we knew that The Kimpton Marlowe would be the perfect place to make our vacation memorable.
A welcome basket that was created especially for my family was waiting for us when we arrived! It was a welcome site after a long plane ride.
Of course, I made sure everyone knew the champagne was entirely for me!
From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The beautiful room was ready and waiting. It had an elegant charm that reminded me of classic east-coast style.
Touring Boston has always been on our bucket list. The Kimpton Marlowe is walking distance to the Museum of Science, Boston Common, and all of the best Boston haunts. Speaking of haunts, you MUST check out Haunted Boston Ghost Tour. Ask for Katie to be your guide – you won’t regret it! It was just scary enough to keep my kids interested but without nightmares!
Once we were settled, the kids were anxious to get out and explore. The Kimpton Marlowe offered bikes for a cruise down the Charles River and canoes. They carried the canoes for us and gave a quick lesson to get us on our way!
Of course, they went the extra mile when they found out it was Erik’s birthday. Chef Bazirgan made homemade ice cream and the most delectable chocolate cake we’ve ever had. Sorry… we couldn’t even wait to take a picture before we dove into it. Actually, I’m not sorry. It was amazing!
Thank you Kimpton Marlowe for making our family vacation memorable. We are already planning to return next year!
