Planning now for a fall themed wedding? Check out these decorations that add the perfect autumn touch.

Jess had begun graduate school in the fall of 2011 at Montclair State University where Barb was a Sergeant at the time. On September 13th, Jess was conversing with some of Barb’s coworkers at their headquarters on campus when Barb walked in and said “Who the hell is sitting in my chair?” turns out it was Jess, who had no problem giving an attitude right back saying “I am, obviously”. Barb swears that when Jess looked up at her, she fell for her right then and there. It took Jess a little more convincing though, like a handmade peanut butter & Nutella sandwich one day during Barb’s lunch break. They both had a quick attraction to one another because of each other’s humor, love of animals, and love of country music. From that point on, both Jess and Barb were inseparable. They rescued their first (of many) pets together, their cat Louie, who was named for Barb’s promotion to Lieutenant. The couple officially became girlfriends on October 22nd at a Halloween party, which is Jess’ favorite holiday. And by Christmas they were living together in their apartment and Barb was telling everyone that she was going to marry Jess one day. Along the journey, Barb as stated, got promoted to Lieutenant at MSU. Jess graduated with her MA in School Counseling, together they adopted 4 Cats: Louie, Holly, Dallas, and Alice and bought their first home together. They got engaged on June 9th, 2014 at the Melting Pot, their go to date night location. They married on October 4th, 2014 in a small ceremony and reception with their immediate family and closest of friends and adopted 2 puppies just three days later: Pumpkin & Bailey. They’re both thrilled to see what the future holds and love being married to one another!

We had a rustic fall theme for our love of the country life and country music as well as the fact that fall is our favorite season, and since we met in the fall, we knew from the get go that we wanted a fall wedding to celebrate us being together full circle.
