This gay wedding in downtown Chicago will have you jumping on the next trolley to visit this fun city! From the photographer:
Chip and Adam held their intimate Chicago wedding at the beautiful Cancer Survivor Garden just East of Maggie Daley Park in downtown Chicago.
One of my favorite things about a wedding is getting to know the couple as we work.
I love to know the story about how a couple met and when I asked this questions Adam’s response was “well, Chip was in love with me for like, ever” and Chip smiled and said “yeah, I was.”
Adam continued “in the beginning I was being stupid, then one day I woke up and I knew I would do whatever it took to be with this man.” And cue the “awwwwwwww” right about now, right!
It was a clear day in March when I met Chip, Adam and 12 of their closest friends and family at their apartment for some photo’s of them getting ready and starting the day’s celebrations.
From the apartment we all hopped onto a trolley which took us to the Cancer Survivors Garden where the Ceremony would take place.
I am such a sucker for personal vows and *confession* I do tear up from time to time ?
After the ceremony, we all hopped onto the trolley to go take more photo’s at Olive park as well as Kinzie Bridge.
We ended the day at Coda di Volpe restaurant in the Southport Corridor for a champagne toast.
