This Detroit wedding at the Opera House is beautiful! You will love the location, the laughter, and the view!
Jennifer and Mary Beth met about 10 years ago. They have been a couple ever since. They booked the Detroit Opera House for their wedding and ceremony.
Originally, they planned to have a roof-top wedding, but the weather decided otherwise for them. Instead, they united in matrimony in the Opera House’s fabulous lobby.
It was beautiful, and ornate! They read their own vows that left guests in tears.Personally growing up with Jen…I cried and celebrated alongside!
Dinner was served in the “Black Box” and the dessert, homemade cheesecake (that was …to die for!) was made by the bride’s Aunt.
When we noticed a break in the weather, we grabbed the girls and hi-tailed it up to the rooftop. We were able to get some amazing images just before the sun completely set. Detroit in the back-ground, I was in complete awe of all the beauty this city offers.
The girls are also huge fans of the Tigers, and wouldn’t you know… they had the best seats in the stadium! They had a live band, Blue Water Kings, that kept the party going and towards the end of the evening… Mary Beth joined in singing, while Jen played drums.
