After 10 years of being together, brides Gena and Molly decided to tie the knot. Read about how they planned their nuptials.
From the Brides, Gena and Molly: We have talked about having a commitment ceremony for a few years but had not set a date because we were not sure how our parents would handle a ceremony. Both sets of parents love both of us and have been supportive but had expressed their trepidation about an actual ceremony. In September, 2014, Molly gave Gena her Great-Great Aunt’s ring which sparked conversation with her parents about whether we were celebrating our engagement and if there would be a commitment ceremony following. When it became clear that they both wanted to be a part of a ceremony, we began planning.
